Chris Simmons brings extensive leadership skills to the SHAW team. During his 6 years with the U.S. Army, Simmons was responsible for a maintenance program and inventory worth approximately $13 million in Afghanistan with zero loss. His final position in the Army was as a platoon sergeant for a communications section. He was responsible for eighteen soldiers that facilitated all forms of communication for a cavalry squadron. There were approximately 500 soldiers in the squadron. Simmons had zero accidents while in the Army, both as an individual soldier and as a leader.
In five years working in the HVAC industry, Simmons moved from installing duct work to managing million dollar projects. He quickly proved himself as a leader at SHAW. Simmons successfully initiated a program to improve efficiency and speed for commercial maintenance. He currently manages our service/repair and construction departments.
